Mudslides in southern oblasts of Kyrgyzstan have destroyed over 300 homes in Osh Oblast in recent days, RFE/RL\'s Bishkek bureau reported. Prime Minister Bakiev traveled to Osh on 30 April to inspect the damage, which is estimated at $1.5 million.

In Tajikistan, heavy rain has triggered mudslides in Khatlon Oblast, where more than 180 homes have been destroyed. (RFE/RL)
