Four officers have been killed in an armed attack on the department of the Federal Drug Control Service in Nalchik, Kabardino-Balkaria. \"At about 3 a.m.
Four officers have been killed in an armed attack on the department of the Federal Drug Control Service in Nalchik, Kabardino-Balkaria. \"At about 3 a.m. on Tuesday a group of gunmen attacked the duty officers of the department, all four officers died in the attack,\" a spokesman for the Kabardino-Balkaria Interior Ministry told Interfax. He said the attackers stole 36 assault rifles, 136 handguns and ammunition for them. \"Early reports indicate that the attackers belonged to a Wahhabite radical group operating in the internal republic,\" the official said. A pursuit of the attackers was launched. (Interfax)
