Darigha Nazarbaeva, the daughter of Kazakh President Nazarbaev, told a briefing in Astana on 6 December that she does not rule out a possible presidential run in 2012. She told journalists, \"In a year or two we\'ll examine this issue.\" On the question of success, Nazarbaeva said that her father would have \"the final say\" on choosing a successor.
