1,183 Interior Troops have been killed in the two armed conflicts in the North Caucasus, Deputy Commander-in- Chief of Interior Troops Col. Gen. Yevgeny Baryayev has announced.
1,183 Interior Troops have been killed in the two armed conflicts in the North Caucasus, Deputy Commander-in- Chief of Interior Troops Col. Gen. Yevgeny Baryayev has announced. \"In the wars in the North Caucasus, Interior Troops have lost 1,183 people. The title of Hero of Russia has been conferred upon 86 soldiers and officers, to 48 of them posthumously,\" he said on Wednesday at a traditional meeting with families of the servicemen who died in action in the North Caucasus.
