Former Kyrgyz president Askar Akayev is now working for Moscow University. The Kyrgyz embassy in Moscow is ready to give him support, Ambassador Apas Jumagulov told a Thursday press conference. \"Askar Akayev is currently a professor at Moscow University.

The Kyrgyz embassy in Moscow is ready to give him support, Ambassador Apas Jumagulov told a Thursday press conference. \"Askar Akayev is currently a professor at Moscow University. We are not in contact, but if he calls or makes any request, we will help him,\" he said. The ambassador said he knew nothing about any investigation against Akayev, who currently resides in the Moscow region. (Interfax)
