TURKMENISTAN IS LAYING SECOND BRIDGE TO AFGHANISTAN

Turkmen specialists completed construction of 50th kilometers part of high-voltage power transmission lines PTL-220 Serkhetabad (former Kushka) ã Great (Afghanistan) with total length at 120 kilometers. Ashkhabadfs correspondent of Turkmenistan.ru reports that 100 km of this energy bridge passes via the territory of Afghanistan.
Turkmen specialists completed construction of 50th kilometers part of high-voltage power transmission lines PTL-220 Serkhetabad (former Kushka) ã Great (Afghanistan) with total length at 120 kilometers. Ashkhabadfs correspondent of Turkmenistan.ru reports that 100 km of this energy bridge passes via the territory of Afghanistan. Works are being carried out by sub-units of Energy and Industry Ministry of Turkmenistan. The energy highway is being laid in line with interstate agreement on deliveries of Turkmen power energy to Afghanistan. The line will be completely ready for exploitation by November of the current year. Presently, the Turkmen power energy is sold in Northern regions of Afghanistan via Andkhoy-Shibirgan line, also constructed by specialists of Turkmenistan. (Turkmenistan.ru)
