Vladimir Rushailo, Secretary of the Russian Security Council, who is on a three-day official visit in Baku, handed a list of terrorist organisations over to Azerbaijani Interior Minister Ramil Usubov for \"operative use.\" The list was approved by the Russian Supreme Court on February 14th. At the meeting held in the Interior Ministry of Azerbaijan, Mr Rushailo pointed to a great contribution by Azerbaijani law enforcement agencies and special services to the fight of the two countries against organised crime, terrorism and drug trafficking. According to the Azerbaijani interior minister, law enforcement agencies and special services of the two counties arrested over 2,500 criminals on Azerbaijani territory who were put on a wanted list of the Russian Federation. Mr Rushailo noted that among the detainees were people who had been involved in terrorist attacks. (RIA Novosti)
