Niklas Nilsson is Associate Editor of the Central Asia-Caucasus Analyst. He is a Research Fellow with the Central Asia-Caucasus Institute & Silk Road Studies Program Joint Center. His specialization is in ethnic relations and energy politics in the Wider Black Sea region, topics on which he has published numerous articles. He holds an M.A. in Political Science from Lund University and has studied Post-Communist Transitions in Eastern Europe at Budapest University of Economic Sciences and Public Administration. He is currently also a Doctoral Candidate at Södertörn University College, Stockholm.
